Garmin Fish Finder – Fish Finder300C
Garmin Fish Finder – Fish Finder 300C
This Garmin Fish Finder Series is suitable for them who love fishing in freshwater. Some features / advantages you can get from this Garmin Fish finder are: affordable price (below 300 dollars), 3.5” high resolution QVGA display with super bright and improved user interface, Dual beam transducer that provides good coverage for shallow waters, hi performance sonar receiver, low power output (150 watt RMS and 1200 watt peak to peak), auto gain setting that capable of adjusting sonar sensitivity automatically, and manual zoom.
I have tried this product. Here is my comment on this Garmin Fish Finder 300C. Compare to other GPS in the same class, this Garmin Fish Finder has smaller screen. But this can be covered with its high resolution and bright screen, so that you can read the screen easily even if in bright sunlight. If you use this device, it is better to accompany it with swivel bracket.
About the menu, I think the menu is user friendly and complete enough. I mean the way the menu arranged is quite simple and to the point, and already provide most of functions you can find in more expensive Garmin Fish Finder. How about the size? Well I think this device has ideal form to carry especially if you don’t have much room in your boat.
Based on my first experience using this Garmin Fish Finder, I can say that operating this device is as easy as baiting the hook. At the first time maybe you should adjust some stuff on the screen such as turn on the gain and white line, turn off the fish id, etc. After that just follow its guidance and enjoy your fishing day.
